Day Light Savings Time begins THIS Sunday!
THIS Saturday, March 13, from 9 am till 5pm
We’ll be painting doors and trim, hanging the remaining kitchen cabinets, cleaning floors and creating the thrift store so she can open her doors to sales.
Holy God, bless the efforts of those involved in search and rescue operations. Give strength and courage to those who may still be trapped. Bring comfort to those who have been displaced or lost loved ones. Bring peace to those whose lives have been shaken to the core and hope to those who fear they have lost all they have. Amen.
Just a reminder that this Sunday is the Hollywood festival of St. Oscar! Due to folks gathering for the Academy Awards, Hollywood and Highland will be closed as will the Highland exit off the Hollywood Freeway.
It’s always easier to avoid traffic than to get stuck in it! So here are a few suggestions:

Our hearts and prayers go out to the people of Haiti in the aftermath of the major earthquake and subsequent earthquakes of the last few days. Though communication is still limited, the initial reports show massive destruction and a tremendous loss of life.
Many are already asking “How can we help?” We can help in at least two ways. One, by holding the people of Haiti in our hearts and prayers. The second is by giving financial gifts for Relief. Thankfully, financial relief and emergency supplies are already on their way from our Presbyterian Church.
